Company History
CallScripter is part of IPPlus, the AIM listed business services organisation, whose interests include
software and outsourced contact centres. The CallScripter headquarters are based in Ipswich, Suffolk, with
regional partners in America, Australia, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Our company’s evolvement was created in response to a need from the group’s own contact centre, Ansaback.
Ansaback was purchased by IPPlus in 2001, and the operation integrated into the existing organisational structure. Along with the
business we also inherited a scripting application that was based around a traditional hardware license approach, which, in the fast
paced environment of outsourced contact centres, put us at a distinct competitive disadvantage.
Having won a significant business contract that required a provision of a dedicated resource of 12 agent positions starting the next
working day, we discovered that the licensing of our existing application would make it impossible to undertake. Our technical team
decided to create a workaround by linking a simple web page to an SQL database to allow us to capture the relevant information. The
campaign was a resounding success and set us thinking that we could create a flexible dynamic system that would match all the
requirements we had within our contact centre, without the existing technical & licensing issues. CallScripter
was born.
Once the system was successfully running our own operation, the next logical step was to offer it as a solution to third parties.
Currently CallScripter has over 150 installations worldwide (USA, Canada, Colombia, Australia, Netherlands, Kenya
and South Africa) and across a range of industries including; outsourced call centres, ticketing solutions, financial services, helpdesk,
telemarketing, internet providers, accident management and charity fundraising.

point – our scripting software has been developed based upon real experience and real working knowledge of a demanding call centre
