Interactions 2015

This month, CallScripter’s Strategic Alliance Partner, Interactive Intelligence, once again hosted their main event at the JW Marriott hotel and conference centre in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana. The four-day event offers partners, customers and employees of Interactive Intelligence a platform where they can interact through exhibitions, seminars, meetings and social activities. Kevin Ellis, Commercial Director, Ken Tracy, Strategic Alliance Director and Elizabeth Millea, Marketing Executive represented CallScripter.

The conference began on Monday evening with a welcome reception in the exhibit hall; this gave attendees and exhibiting organisations a chance to meet informally, introduce their need or service and schedule meetings. CallScripter enjoyed a hugely busy reception, generating a high level of interest and scheduling demonstrations for the coming conference. We also got to re-engage with some familiar Interactive faces from all over the world.

Tuesday’s kick-off event in the conference centre auditorium featured an inspiring session from seasoned research leader, Matthew Dixon. The fast-talking marketing guru took us on a roller coaster ride through customer satisfaction and loyalty strategy with some great analogies thrown in. Next up was Interactive Intelligence’s CEO Don Brown and recently appointed CMO Jeff Platon with some great role play and demonstrations performed by the Interactions team. Square doughnut anyone? The final speaker for Interactions 2015 kick off was Robert Herjavec, the well-known business person, author, and TV personality. Robert’s story of entrepreneurial success was just what we all needed to ramp us up for a fully packed conference.

Following the kickoff, some sessions were available covering subjects such as ‘The Human Factor in the World of Metrics’ and ‘Omnichannel Quality Management’. Between these presentations, attendees had the chance to meet exhibiting vendors in the main hall; this was a busy time for CallScripter as we connected with many customers and partners showcasing the latest release of our scripting solution.

On Tuesday evening’s itinerary was the eagerly anticipated Need for Speed event held at the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Plenty of entertainment had been provided for the several hundred guests, and it was clear that all enjoyed the evening. Activities included a lap around the track, a pit stop challenge, tastes of the world buffet, craft beers and music provided by some seriously talented local bands. Those who were in the party mood were invited to an after party at Indianapolis’s oldest bar, The Slippery Noodle Inn, for live Blues music.

And so Wednesday began with opening sessions; Interaction Decisions™ Customer Panel and Contact Center Technology and the Quest for Customer-Centricity led by Jeff Platon. The theme was set for the day, and the CallScripter team met clients and consultants focussed on customer engagement, enthusiastic to learn how CallScripter provides businesses with the necessary tools to make each interaction count. We even managed to meet with some of the other vendors and make some valuable business connections and alliances. Wednesday’s exhibiting session was rounded off with the Passport to Prizes reception which CallScripter was honoured to take part in. We supplied a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones, and they were won by the extremely pleased Gil Benelli (pictured).

To close a fantastic conference, the Grand Ballroom was transformed as we celebrated Cuban style with the Havana Nights: 2015 Customer Appreciation Dinner. Attendees enjoyed a delicious Cuban buffet, original Havanan music and dancing and some well-deserved awards. Thursday morning was CEO Don Brown’s ‘Where We’re Going’ address, informing all attendees of Interactive Intelligence’s roadmap for the coming year; this was followed by a conference wrap up from Jeff Platon.

CallScripter was thrilled to have the opportunity to attend this event again as an Interactive Intelligence Alliance partner. Interactions give us the opportunity to meet with our colleagues from Interactive Intelligence, other partners, existing and new customers and to roadmap our activities for the coming year. We look forward to next year’s conference.
